About the Role

As we expand globally and enter new markets, Reibus Mexico is looking to hire a dynamic Manager of Finance and Administration, reporting directly to the General Manager in Mexico, that will directly support day to day operations for our country growth. You will work in our Monterrey metropolitan area offices and be wearing many hats at a fast pace while juggling priorities. You will take ownership of building our process and for tracking our finances and transactions, governmental reporting, and overall office administration.  You, in this critical role, will also own the next level of our development by improving and streamlining back office processes, implement bookkeeping/accounting best practices and our ERP in Mexico. We want you to learn and grow at Reibus, to try new things and to take chances. Your ability to handle a variety of tasks and activities will be key as part of our Mexico Operations and Finance team.


What You'll Do

  • Own the internal control environment: Leverage technology to drive improvements / efficiencies in the accounting, reporting and payroll processes for internal and external audit purposes
  • Build and manage the treasury process: Handle the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements in coordination with the Atlanta, US head office and external accountants
  • Administer daily bookkeeping: Track company transactions such as Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Shipping / Import-Export, daily expenses, issue purchase orders, pay bills and run payroll
  • Establish and develop relationships: Partner with banks, credit and financial institutions and lead the interaction with Mexico´s SAT, Secretariat of Economy, Customs Authorities and Agents, as well as with legal and accounting firms supporting the operations
  • Be responsible for tax filings: Submit federal, state and municipal tax filings and general paperwork related to business operations and office administration.
  • Assist in the implementation of ERP and CRM systems: Execute daily electronic invoicing per Mexican requirements, ensuring accurate invoicing and margin statements using Oracle NetSuite
  • Be a liaison with our People and Culture global team: Administer Mexico´s benefits package and payroll and helping to promote, demonstrate and enforce Reibus´core values: Courageous, Curiosity, Grit, Ownership, and Honesty
  • Support credit process and collection activities: In coordination with Reibus Atlanta, US head office

Your Ideal Background

  • Accounting degree preferred but Business Degree acceptable
  • 5+ years of relevant administrative experience within accounting and office administration
  • Solid understanding of basic financial principles
  • Able to prepare and interpret financial statements
  • Highly proficient in Oracle Netsuite and Excel
  • Knowledge of Mexico´s Código Fiscal de la Federación, Ley del ISR y del IVA, Ley Federal del Trabajo, Ley del Seguro Social, Ley del INFONAVIT, Ley Aduanera, Anexo 24, IMMEX program
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator in both Spanish and English
